Although puppies are always adorable, their enormous ears help to define them. Of course, typically they grow into their ears and become proportionate to their fluffy bodies; but occasionally there is a malfunction in the matrix and that doesn’t happen! We can only surmise that this is what happened here, and we hypothesise this dog stopped his ear-growing process for a very significant reason.
You question, what advantage larger ears provide? They’re all the better to hear “good boy” with! And we all know that a treato always finishes the phrase “good boy”.
