Nature has an uncanny way of producing some really amazing patterns and markings in the most unexpected places. And you don’t have to be a dog or cat lover to really appreciate a rare bird with feathers full of hearts or a feline with a rare and really beautiful eye condition. A Kitty With A Camouflaged Nose

There are plenty of unique patterns on this list, but none that could be described as camouflage thus far. Someone posted this photo of a cat and at first, we thought that this feline was missing a nose, but we were totally wrong. It’s just that its pattern makes it look like it doesn’t have a nose. You actually have to look kind of close in order to make it out.

Some people noted that without a distinguishable nose, this cat kind of looks like an owl. We’d have to agree but add that this kitten’s big eyes also help in that regard.

A Puppy With Glasses

Here’s one for all of you dog lovers out there. Someone posted this photo of their family member’s puppy, and you can probably see why. It looks like the puppy is wearing glasses or those masks you might see on a bandit in an old cartoon. This pup would be gorgeous even without the glasses pattern, but with them, it looks absolutely beautiful. Some people also likened these marks to something that happened in a scene from M.A.S.H.

In that scene, someone covered the rims of a pair of binoculars with eyeliner, which left rings around a character’s eyes after they looked through the binoculars.

A Lamb Pretending To Be A Cow

We’re pretty sure everyone out there has seen one of those videos of an animal that seems to get along better with those from another species. Well, this lamb might just be one of those animals. It’s basically a lamb that’s pretending to be a cow. Or, at least, it’s a lamb with a very cow-like pattern. Honestly, when we first glanced at this photo we thought that this was a cow.

The only thing more adorable than this photo would be a photo of this lamb out in a field playing around with some cows. We really wish we had that photo or better yet, video.

A Golden Retriever With A Birthmark

We’ve never seen a golden retriever with a birthmark, so imagine our surprise when we saw this photo. You don’t have to be a dog lover to appreciate how unique this mark is. A pet owner’s golden has a birthmark that means one side of their dog’s face is black. It’s super unique, and we’ve only ever seen these types of dogs with all yellow or golden colored fur.

Even with the mark, this doggo still has that same goofy smile golden retrievers are known for. We bet it gets all kinds of compliments from random people on the street.

A Kitty With A Tattoo

Okay, so this cat doesn’t actually have a tattoo, but its unique marks make it look like it has two halves of the same tattoo on either of its hind legs. Someone snapped this photo of the cat lying down and the marks coming together to form a heart. Not only are these marks unique but the way this cat is laying down is also pretty uncommon. It’s almost as if it knows.

A lot of people online were pretty amazed that this cat was lying down like this, too. They mentioned that and how much they just wanted to squeeze and love on the cat.

A Cat With Multiple Patterns

We have cats with hearts and cats with pants, so naturally, it’s time for a cat with both. You don’t have to be a cat lover to appreciate how rare it must be to have both. The heart on this cat’s side is also really big compared to a lot of the other ones on this list. Although, its pants are pulled down a little lower than the other cat with pants.

This cat also isn’t wearing any socks, but who cares? The cat’s owner said that their cat was really proud of its pattern when they posted the picture, and honestly, it should be.

A Dog With A Cat On Him

There must be something weird going on because there are a couple of photos on this list of dogs with patterns that look like cats. This pet owner posted a photo of their doggo sleeping, and you can clearly see the outline of a cat in their fur. It’s actually a little worrying and makes us think that the cats might be up to something. Maybe it’s just a spirit animal thing or something.

A lot of people commented that their own dogs would either be annoyed or scared if they had similar patterns in their fur. Some also pointed out how nature has a cruel sense of humor.

A Cat With A Cat Tattoo

This one is pretty cool. A pet owner posted a photo of their cat and what appears to be a mark that resembles the silhouette of a feline. It’s almost as if their cat has a tattoo of another tiny cat on their palm. This makes for a great tattoo idea, and we would totally get a matching tattoo if we had a cat with a similar tattoo. You could also just get something similar if you were a cat lover.

Some people noted how that might just be a tattoo of this cat’s girlfriend but we don’t think this kitty would go off and make a decision as bad as that.

This Dog Has A Bird On Its Chest

Forget an “S,”; the bird on this dog’s chest is much more unique. This pup has a really majestic-looking bird pattern that reminds us of a  phoenix or something similar. Of course, it also kind of reminds us of those really bad chest tattoos, but that’s beside the point. This doggo’s unique pattern is a lot cooler than those. Some people said that this looked more like a bat to them but we don’t really see it.

This dog also looks like he’s got it made with that huge bed. We just want to reach out and give him a big hug with all of that fluff.

A Calf With A Heart

We just had to include this photo of a baby calf with a giant heart on its head. The entire calf is black except for a single white patch on the top of its head that looks like a heart. This fella doesn’t actually look like he was born that long ago. It’s probably really young. Whenever this photo was posted, some people shared their own stories of growing up with cows and calves.

They all had a similar theme, which was how inquisitive and fun-loving cows can be, which isn’t what most people think of when they think of cattle but it’s true.
