Ports of Call frequently fall short of exotic expectations, which is the truth. To be clear, the vast majority of significant ports of call are undoubtedly beautiful and worth seeing. They are undoubtedly tourism destinations with highly developed economies and infrastructure created for cruise ship guests. In other words, they’re wonderful tourist destinations, but they’re definitely not “unexplored.”
