14. Prohibition on Public Displays of Disagreement
The purpose is to maintain the dignified image of the monarchy and to show unity.

Even though they are unquestionably human, the British Royal Family functions under intense scrutiny, so cohesion is crucial. Even small public arguments have the potential to harm the monarchy’s reputation by implying disagreement inside the very institution that represents national unity. As a result, people are discouraged from voicing their complaints or differences in public.

This regulation upholds the notion that the royal family is a unified entity, committed primarily to their duty and country. However, arguments are normal in any family. These are dealt with discreetly, out of the sight of inquisitive eyes. Essentially, they demonstrate their devotion to their tasks and obligations by standing united when on duty, notwithstanding their potential personal disagreements.
