The FV106 Samson is a British armed recovery vehicle that is a member of the CVRT armored tank group. Lightweight FV430s and other tracked vehicles can be recovered by the 8.7-ton Samson. Early in the 1970s, the Samson was created, and in 1978, it went into production.

Three people can work aboard this armored rescue vehicle, which has an all-welded aluminum hull. One 7.62mm L7 GPMG serves as its primary weapon, while a set of right smoke dischargers serves as its secondary armament. Soldiers can use the FV106’s own tracks to operate it amphibiously by equipping it with a float screen. Additionally, NBC protection equipment and a propeller kit can be installed.
