10. Nahuel DL 43 – Argentina

Argentina’s Army is the program’s main user. It costs $1.2 million per unit.
The American M4 Sherman served as the model for the Nahuel DL-43. Lieutenant Colonel Alfredo Baisi created it and commissioned Buenos Aires-based Arsenal Esteban de Luca to build a wooden mock-up and twelve tanks. They were utilized by the Argentine Army in conjunction with surplus Sherman tanks that Belgium and the United Kingdom had sent to the nation in the late 1940s.

The early M3 Grant and the M4 Medium, both of which were in service with the U.S. Army, share similarities in their designs. However, in contrast to what many people think, this WWII vehicle was not a replica of either tank. It had a unique design and armor that sloped.
