Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Protected Vehicles Incorporated manufactures the Golan Wheeled Armored Vehicle, an MRAP mobility vehicle. The goal of this vehicle is to provide the utmost protection for both the crew and the passengers.

Up to ten personnel can be accommodated on the Golan’s platform, which can also be rearranged to serve as an ambulatory, recon, command, or intelligence gathering vehicle. The Golan can carry all kinds of armor, from light passive to heavy reactive, that can deflect even RPGs, and its V-shaped body and hull can survive IED blasts and mines. Even the most potent kind of IED, EFPs, may be deflected by the Golan when it is wearing its reactive armor.
