eBay is included in this list of offenders, in addition to Wish and Amazon. Sarah Dobbs claimed on Twitter that when she sought to purchase a Porgs toy on eBay, she was duped by a “switcheroo.” For those who don’t know, porgs are Star Wars creatures.

Dobbs experienced a sharp lesson in “expectations versus reality” when she opened the Porgs stuffed animal and saw that it was a very different animal from what she had ordered. The copy looks more like a cross between an owl, a hamster, and a penguin.
