This photograph appears to have originated in the Xizang/Tibetan mountains. There are several mountain ranges in Tibet, and they all make for stunning images like this one. The Asian location has a reputation for being among the world’s most picturesque for a reason. These mountains resemble those on the Red Planet, even though they are firmly on Earth.
