Alternatively known as the Predator 2, the MQ-9 Reaper was created by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. A crewless aerial aircraft called the Reaper is intended for high-altitude, long-duration surveillance missions. Since 2014, 163 have been constructed with a total program cost of $11.8 billion.

The Reaper is larger, heavier, and more capable than the other Predators in the roster. Despite having 950 shaft horsepower engines, it nonetheless makes use of the same ground control systems as the other MQs. More than fifteen times as much as other predators, it can carry. The National Guard of New York was the first to use it.
