12. The Sikorsky King Stallion, CH-53K

The Marine Corps operates a heavy-lift helicopter, the Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion, which is still in development. After its initial test flight in 2015, it is currently in production. The program will cost $25.34 billion in total. The helicopter was created by Sikorsky Aircraft to deliver freight.

Compared to its previous variations, the CH-53 aircraft, it has a larger aircraft area. Three powerful 7,500 horsepower engines power the helicopter. For increased speed, it also features upgraded composite rotor blades. The military base in West Palm Beach, Florida, hosted its maiden test flight.
