The $1.2 billion project is under progress, and when it’s finished, this district will undoubtedly be revitalized. Neighborhoods that were divided by the federal interstate system in the 1960s will be reconnected, and new areas including Emory Square, a plaza complex, Peachtree Green, a three-acre park, and a mixed-use area adjacent to Georgia Power’s headquarters will be included.
