Princess Diana owned a large collection of rings, nearly all of which featured unique stones. She wore a variety of rings set with diamonds, aquamarine, and emeralds. The Princess wore a Cartier trinity and signet ring in 1983 at a Kensington Palace picture shoot with Tim Graham. Given that Diana received the signet as a gift before the wedding, the ring had the Prince of Wales’ feathers.

It was said that there was a note connected to the signet ring. The Prince’s note to the Princess said, in part, “Just look them in the eye and knock them dead,” which made sense given her nervousness before the wedding.
