Germany’s Landsberg Prison
In addition to being the location where Hitler penned “Mein Kampf,” Germany’s Landsberg Prison is also the site of 278 Nazi executions for war crimes. The prison has an educational center for aspiring bakers, electricians, artists, butchers, carpenters, tailors, shoemakers, and masons, and the living conditions of the convicts have improved over time.
