An inmate for women in Sincan, Turkey

Rather than having stationary cells, the women’s prison “Sincan” has replaced its cells with 360-degree recording cameras placed throughout its halls. These cameras, which can record sound, are employed to keep an eye on the communal living spaces within the cells. The administration will now be able to see places that were previously only visible to bystanders, thanks to these new cameras.
