Even cars who are concerned about their tires may find road cracks annoying, but pedestrians who don’t want to trip over their own feet may find them even more so. Nevertheless, fixing fractures isn’t exactly inexpensive. Resurfacing a road may come with a $500 price tag per 100 meters.
The road crack will be fixed with duct tape (@u/Fah-que or Reddit.com).
A considerate neighborhood scout believed that a $2 roll of tape would suffice to do the task. It is obvious that the crack may be prevented from getting worse by taping it together in multiple places. Though the reality is depressing, the enthusiasm is charming.
Hopefully, this was only a temporary solution until the local government could take over and make the necessary repairs, but that kind of work can take a long time. That it got to this is both terribly sweet and horribly innocent, isn’t it?
