Canada’s Tunnel Ville-Marie, Montréal, 2011
A concrete slab has fallen into the road at the Ville-Marie tunnel as a result of its antiquated construction. This slab was a component of the concrete structure designed to help drivers’ eyes adjust to the tunnel’s darkness more rapidly. Thankfully, nobody was harmed in the collision.
