1. Even Otter Moms Are Over Kids
Potentially Used Camera: Panasonic Lumix FZ80
Where to Purchase: Amazon Average Price: $398*
This picture, taken by Chee Kee Teo, demonstrates that even mothers of otter pups occasionally lose their cool. This image, titled “Time for School,” shows a mother otter picking up her startled-looking youngster and carrying him around.

Teo claimed that the mother was biting her infant on the scruff in order to maneuver him effectively while she brought him to a swimming session. The two main factors that make this picture funny are her expression of exasperation and his expression of surprise.
2. Operatic Fish
Potential Use of the Nikon Coolpix W300 Camera
Where to Purchase: Nikon; Average Price: $390*
This fish appears to be getting ready for a Broadway show. Chu Han Lin captured this image of a mudskipper leaping around and gaping at his friend, who is equally ludicrous as the mudskipper.

This image, which was taken in Taiwan, shows the bizarre-looking mudskipper, an amphibious fish that consumes tiny crustaceans, worms, beetles, and even crickets. The mudskipper is referred to as the “walking fish,” and it does it pretty theatrically.
3. The New Joker
Potential Camera: iPhone
Where to Buy: Amazon Average, Walmart, and Apple Store. Price range: $500–1,200*
“Are you up for a game?” This cute, fluffy, golden retriever appears to be trying out for the part of the newest Joker. Joaquin Phoenix, get over it! This picture of an optical illusion shows a dog snatching his griny ball.

The Joker of the New York Comedy Pet Photography Awards, Lianne Richards
He appears to have a wide, white set of chompers because of the manner in which he is clutching the ball. He appears more silly than normal, and we adore the fact that he is unaware that his carefree gesture is producing such a humorous picture.
4. This Baboon Is A Tenor
Potential Camera: Sony RX10 IV
The Sony Average is where to buy. Price: $1,700*
This photo was taken by Clemence Guinard and is titled “The Baboon Who Feels Like A Tenor.” Wildlife photographer Guinard spotted this baboon yawning. Though, in truth, he’s just sleepy, it appears as though he’s going to break into song.

Here Is A Tenor Baboon Clemence Guinard/ComedyWildlifeImage
This Hamadryas baboon and his troop were living in the Saudi Arabian Mountains when this picture was taken. This monster can be prepared to perform an aria at the theater by dressing him up in makeup and a fluffy cape.
5. Aren’t Eagles Supposed To Be Magestic?
Potential Use of the Nikon Coolpix P1000 Camera
Where to Purchase: Nikon USA; Average Price: $1,000*
David Eppley’s photograph was mockingly dubbed “Majestic and Graceful Bald Eagle.” Even though bald eagles are regarded as majestic, graceful avians, as you can see above, they occasionally tumble over.

Eagles are meant to be majestic, right? FunnyWildlifePhoto by David Eppley
This bald eagle misjudged his landing and crashed headfirst into a tree, probably due to fatigue from building on a new nest. Bald eagles are pretty tough, so don’t worry. The photographer claimed that after giving it a few “wing strokes” and a “rest,” the prey bird was alright.
6. Shake It Off
Possible Equipment: Canon EOS R6 Mark II camera
Where to Buy: Walmart Avg. Price: $3,300*
This image was taken three years ago by Dawn Wilson, who captioned it “Shaking Off 2020.” Not only was that year difficult for people, but it was also difficult for birds. In early January 2021, Wilson was in southern Louisiana, taking pictures of brown pelicans in the rain.

Put It Behind You, Dawn Wilson/FunnyWildlifeImages
She said the pelicans were rising to their feet, scuffing the rain from their bodies, and going out to fish. Wilson captured this image of a bird that appeared to be recovering after a difficult year because he was in the right spot at the right moment.
7. Yay, I Did It!
Possible Equipment: Fujifilm X-T4 camera
Where to Purchase: Amazon Average Price: $1,950*
Dikky Oesin gave this shot the caption “Yes, I Did It,” realizing what caused the frog to laugh triumphantly and smile gorgeously. As per Oesin’s account, the small frog managed to scale a plant and reach the bloom.

I did it! Yeah, Dikky Oesin/Comedy Outdoor Images
For such a small amphibian, though seemingly insignificant to us, this achievement was comparable to scaling a tower. The frog celebrated his successful ascent by letting out a “laugh” as he reached the top of the bloom.
8. I Hate Baths!
Potential camera: iPad
Where to Purchase: Apple Store, Walmart
Average Price: $400–1,400*
This image serves as just one more illustration of how much cats detest water—there are plenty more on the Internet. Cats detest water because their fur is unpleasant when wet and is difficult to dry. Cats with wet fur are less agile because it sags and is heavy.

Depending on the breed, our picky pets may require bathing, but they will argue with you about it. This cat appears to have lost the bath battle, as though having to wash himself was equivalent to landing a major role in an actual horror film.
9. Hitching A Ride
Potentially Used Camera: Panasonic LUMIX FZ2500
Where to Purchase: Amazon Average Price: $898*
“Pardon me, sir. May I please get a ride?” Photographer Dirk-Jan Steehouwer appropriately named his image “Monkey Riding a Giraffe,” as he saw a monkey climbing atop a giraffe. It appears that this monkey was playing with other monkeys in a group in the barren trees.

The monkey spotted an opening to grab a ride and jumped onto the friendly giraffe’s back as it passed through. Well, it’s quite an easy way to avoid the scorching Saharan grasses.
10. Kissing A Tree
Potential Camera: Sony Alpha 1
The Sony Average is where to buy. Expense: $6,500*
We could really create a list of amusing animal pictures that are exclusively dedicated to monkeys. The monkey who plays the lead in Jakub Hodan’s “Treehugger” looks to be kissing and hugging a tree. Or at least forcefully putting his nose up to the tree.

Putting a Tree in My Mouth: Comedy Wildlife/Jakub Hodan
Since trees are an important part of monkeys’ lives, who are we to judge, in the words of Hodan? The proboscis monkey was probably trying to figure out who else had climbed the tree by sniffing it thoroughly or pressing his nose against the rough bark. Who knows, maybe he’s in love?
11. Angry Lion
Potential Use of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Camera
Where to Purchase: Walmart Average Price: $70*
Purchasing a lion’s mane for your feline companion is a great way to provoke them and capture a humorous photo all at once. They are inexpensive and fit your cat’s head snugly without being overly tight. You can get them at Target or on Amazon.

An enraged, chonky lion like this one is the end outcome. This cat seems to be saying, Halloween be damned, that he can’t believe his owner had the audacity to do this to him. We humans can’t quit laughing, even though this cat doesn’t find it humorous.
12. Leaf To The Beak
Potential Camera: Sony A9 II
The Sony Average is where to buy. The price is $4,500.
The title of this photo, “I Guess Summer’s Over,” comes from the fact that the pigeon was contently seated in October when he received a very sharp warning that summer was coming to an end. We can thank John Speirs for this amusing image.

From Leaf to Beak Picture by Comedy Wildlife/John Speirs
This pigeon was about to take off when he got struck in the face and had his vision obscured by a dead leaf. This image appears to be a small measure of harmless justice, given how bothersome pigeons are to people living in cities on a regular basis.
13. Stuck Together
Potential Camera: Canon R5
Purchase Location: Canon Global Average Price: $3,400*
In this image taken by Kevin Biskaborn, a mother racoon and her young are crammed into a small tree area. These Eastern racoons were a tight fit, and Biskaborn claimed they were scuttling over one another to get a better look at what he was doing with his camera.

There is a great deal of wildlife in Ontario, Canada, including wolves, moose, lynxes, black bears, polar bears, coyotes, beavers, and many, many more species that require environmental preservation.
14. Singing A Solo
Potential Camera: Nikon D850
Where to Purchase: Nikon USA Average Price: $2,800*
Well, we do adore a good solo. What odd creatures kangaroos are! Even though they are typically calm, timid, and leaf-eating, some of them have the ability to become irrationally hostile and nasty when they believe that others are harassing them, especially when it happens when they are alone.

15. Giggling Grey Seal
Potential Camera: Nikon D7500
Where to Purchase: Nikon USA Average Price: $1,000–1,400*
By her own admission, photographer Martina Novotna had been “lying on a rocky beach for hours,” attempting to be “as motionless as possible.” She went there to take pictures of gray seals in their native environment, and she did just that.

This seal pup, seen in this photo, came ashore to rest and slept for hours on his preferred rock until the tide moved it. The dog yawned when this photo was shot, but it appears that it was more of a charming giggle than a true sign of exhaustion.
