15. Season of the Monarchs
Potential Camera: Ricoh GR III
Purchase Location: Adorama
Expense: $896.95*
Carl Linnaeus gave the monarch butterfly its name in 1758, and since then, it has provided us with beauty. Although there are about 160 species in the Danaidae family, the Monarch is the most well-known. Its magnificence in shades of orange, white, and black is a welcome sight in the garden. A monarch butterfly is shown in this 2016 picture gently settling on a flower.

A camera like the Ricoh GR III ($896.35), available at Adorama, could have easily taken this picture. Photographers who capture close-ups of fragile subjects, such as insects and birds, especially love the Ricoh Imaging product because of its excellent close-up capabilities.
