This small salt lake is part of the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna Nature Reserve and is situated near Potosi, Bolivia. Under the salt lake’s surface, pigmented algae and red sediments give it its distinct tint. Laguna Colorada is well-known for the numerous flamingos that live there, in addition to its rose hue.
