Margrethe II, the queen of Denmark, has worn the exquisite Pearl Poire Tiara as a headpiece over the years. Denmark has one of the largest collections of tiaras of any nation in Europe, with the Pearl Poire being particularly noteworthy due to its historical significance.

formed in the first part of the 1800s, the tiara is formed of eighteen poire (pear-shaped) pearls. Princess Louisa of Prussia received the tiara as a wedding present from Prince Frederick of the Netherlands in 1825. It has since been passed down through the generations and ended up in Margrethe II’s possession.
