With its mix of power, range, and adaptability, the H225M Super Puma epitribes modern military transportation helicopter design. Advanced digital avionics, a four- axial autopilot, and night vision compatibility define this twin-engine aircraft. Its strong engines allow it to carry, in difficult surroundings, up to 28 personnel or 6,000 kg of goods. The advanced self-defence systems of the helicopter, which include missile approach warning systems and radar warning receivers, equip it for missions in difficult surroundings. The Super Puma’s remarkable range of more than 450 nautical miles and capacity for air-to— refuelling expand its operational possibilities much beyond standard cargo helicopters.
6. Russian Helicopters Mi-38
Bridgeging the medium-to- heavy-lift transport helicopter gap, the Mi-38 marks the most recent development in Russian helicopter design.
