In Guarani, the waterfall’s name translates to “big water.” US First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt exclaimed, “Poor Niagara!” upon seeing the Devil’s Throat, the complex’s most notable feature.

Europe: Norway’s Ryukandefossen.

The waterfall’s name translates to “steaming waterfall.” It doesn’t seem shocking: during the summer season, the Mđrkedđla river appears to be raging and absorbing water from the snowmelt in the mountains. Victoria, Africa (Zimbabwe).

Asia: Vietnam’s Pongur.

The seven-tier waterfall is located 35 kilometres away from Dalat. It is among the biggest and most exquisite, not just in Vietnam but also globally.

North America:

New York’s Niagara Falls (United States). The city of Niagara Falls, which is essentially built on top of the waterfall, is supported by both the energy of the cascade and the millions of tourists that travel here each year to see this amazing natural feature. Although it is difficult to imagine, the American Falls were drained for many months in 1969 in order to stabilise the slopes and stop erosion. Additionally, they were frozen for the first time since 1947 in January of last year.

Kinzelyuk Waterfall is in the Krasnoyarsk region of Russia.
