When faced with unexpected and adverse situations, ostriches are known to bury their heads in the sand, and to be honest, we wish we could do the same. This ostrich, however, stands firmly in front of the photographer’s camera and poses for a shot, making it stand out from the others.

It must like its slender neck and petite face for it to pose thus close to the lens, capturing only the essential details and appealing to the standards of beauty set by society. The ostrich’s disinterested face, however, indicates that the photographer is not doing a very good job.
