Since this life hack has been making the rounds on the Internet for a while, we’re just making sure you know about it in case you were unaware. All you need for this hack is a 20-ounce empty water bottle ($1-2) to separate the yolks and whites.

Crack the egg and place it on a dish. Squeeze the bottle and hold it upside-down, pressing the mouth onto the egg yolk. Release the bottle’s pressure gradually. Due to its distinct density, the yolk will be drawn into the container independently of the whites.
