The gravitational attraction of a blackhole is so strong that nothing can withstand it, not even planets, stars, or light. When X-ray equipment were carried into orbit by a sounding rocket in 1971, the first black hole was identified. Cygnus X-1 was the moniker given to it.

The secrets of black holes remain well beyond the reach of human discovery. But there are a lot of hypotheses regarding them. Although the fate of everything once it is sucked in is unknown, some experts who are more upbeat decide to think that it could serve as a wormhole leading to other regions of the cosmos.
