With a strong telescope, one may see the colourful bands of light that make up the spirals of the galaxy when gazing out at the Milky Way. It is thought that the cause of the Milky Way’s amazing light show, soccer-ball-shaped Buckyballs, has finally been uncovered.

Buckyballs, which are composed of 60 carbon atoms per, are believed to hold the key to one of the most profound mysteries in history: “How did life in the universe begin?” Buckyballs linger in the voids of interstellar space.
