For you, what qualifies as a major purchase? Everyone has a different threshold, and it all depends on how comfortable you are with money in general. That being said, when a large purchase is broken down, it’s actually not that big.

When you buy products separately, you make a number of moderate-to-small purchases that build up rather than one large purchase. This feels better when it comes to our bank accounts, albeit we’re not sure why.
