Adored as “salties,” saltwater crocodiles can reach up to 23 feet in length and 2,205 pounds in weight (the males, that is; the females are much smaller). Salties are not only enormous but also hostile.
Given that saltwater crocodiles are significantly more ferocious than any other species, the woman in this photo is fortunate to be in a protected cage. Even though they’re prepared and eager to attack people, they’re not very fast, so you should have a fair chance of outrunning them if you’re in good form.as long as they don’t approach you from behind.
