7. Cook Sober at All Times

Estimated Cost: $10–$20* Result: Burned pizza due to intoxicated cooking
We can’t argue with the words of wisdom that Jack Morlen on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared with the rest of us in the summer of 2016. “Reminder to self… It read, “Don’t cook when intoxicated.

A completely burned pizza—the kind you should only bake for about twenty minutes—was shown in the caption. But Jack was inebriated and didn’t see his pizza, which led to this burnt mess.

Estimated Price: $5–$10*
What transpired was that the omelet was overcooked.
We may thank @stephmunchies on Instagram for this culinary disaster, which essentially resulted in an omelet that was reduced to rubble. Steph included the appropriate hashtags for this, such as #funnyfails and #homecooking.

A well-meaning poster suggested that Steph may have had “the heat up too high.” Omelets should be cooked carefully over low heat to avoid the unfortunate outcome of this well-meaning cooking mishap.
9. Ramen and keto?

Estimated Price: $5*
