Scientists are still baffled by the interstellar mystery known as the Giant Void. The Giant Void is not a space hole, nor is it filled with dark matter or matter. It simply isn’t anything. The Giant Void admits light, however scientists think that light carries dark energy in it.

Despite being one of the biggest voids we have seen to date, the Giant Void is by no means the only one in space. With an estimated diameter of 1.3 billion light years, it occupies a significant area of the Canes Venatici. It is fitting that the Giant Void is frequently called “The Great Nothing.”
