This pose provides significant benefits to the lower body and spine, strengthening the legs and feet while stretching the muscles and relieving potential back pain.

Begin by standing with your back straight. Extend your legs and bend your body forward and downward, keeping your hands on your legs. Hold the position for at least 30 seconds, or up to 1 minute if possible.
