6. Mangosteen

Called the “Queen of Fruits,” Mangosteen produces a remarkable jam with a delicate purple-white hue and refined taste sensation. Comprising complex molecules, the white parts of the fruit produce a distinct taste blending sweet, sour, and flowery aromas. Mangosteen needs certain processing processes to retain its delicate taste constituents and stop oxidation when turned into jam. Combining flavors of lychee, peach, and vanilla with a subdued citrus finish, the resultant preserve has a light, creamy appearance with purple undertones and tastes tropical.
