9. Soak honey into roots

Humans are not the only species that benefits from honey’s various health benefits. Enzymes in the sweet syrup might encourage plant root growth. Honey functions as a “root hormone” that can accelerate plant development when applied to root cuttings.

Two glasses of boiling water and one spoonful of raw, unpasteurized honey are required. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, stir in the honey and let it cool. When you’re ready to use the mixture, store it in a dark area in a mason jar. Before planting, prepare your root cuttings and dip them into the honey water.
