Park Güell, Barcelona
The magnificence of the mosaic houses in Barcelona is depicted in almost every brochure. Those who have never visited Catalonia might assume the city is full of tiny, cosier homes. But Park Güell is the only place where you may see these. The bad news is that there are only two mosaic houses, and entry costs €8.50 and requires a lengthy queue. To us, it makes more sense to stand on the observation deck and take in the breathtaking scenery.
