3. Wedding traditions
A cup is shared and white scarves are traded during a wedding ceremony. When a couple has been living together for more than six months, their marriage is considered legal. The wife’s family home is traditionally preferred by couples, as indicated above; however, this might alter based on which residence requires more work.
