9. National dress code
Bhutanese citizens dress traditionally. Women wear lengthy dresses, and men wear bulky, knee-length robes. The color of a scarf slung over a person’s left shoulder indicates their social standing. Nobles and monks wear yellow scarves, while regular folks wear white scarves.
