In the United States, dogs are the most common pets. 65.1 million households in the United States own dogs, according to the American Pet Products Association’s National Pet Owners Survey. Are they, then, the ideal pet? Although they are renowned for their devotion, intelligence, and affection, dogs require a lot of upkeep.
Since most pet dogs are affectionate animals by nature (they follow us everywhere), you must spend time with them in order to maintain their wellbeing. When they sense danger, dogs can also growl, bark, and even bite. For these intricate animals to survive in the world of humans, they need constant care and training.
“Recommended for all dog training, including the treatment of behavior problems, is the exclusive use of reward-based training methods,” states the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.
Positive reinforcement training, sometimes referred to as reward-based training, is not only scientifically supported, but it’s also an enjoyable means of fostering family bonds with your new pet.
