Multi-child families are not uncommon in the animal kingdom, but some species totally deserve the “Baby-Boom of the Year” award. For example, axolotls can give birth to up to 500 kids at once. And that’s not even the most out of all the animals in our article.

Field mice build their nests of moss, fabric, paper, leaves, and other soft materials that they can find. Mouse pups open their eyes on the sixth day of life and leave their nests at the age of 3 weeks.
